1. Privacy-First On-Device Architecture

INDD Viewer is designed as a local inspection utility. All InDesign (.indd, .indt) document parsing, metadata extraction, font inventories, and page preview rendering occur strictly on your device. Your files and documents are never uploaded, transmitted, or hosted on external servers.

2. Permissions Used in the App

INDD Viewer operates using minimum necessary system permissions to support its functionality while maintaining user privacy.

3. Information Collected & Third-Party SDKs

We do not collect personal identification information such as your name, email address, physical address, or phone number. However, third-party software development kits (SDKs) integrated into the App may process certain device-related or technical information according to their respective privacy policies.

• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Displays advertisements. AdMob may process advertising identifiers, device information, diagnostics, and other information as described in Google's Privacy Policy .
• OneSignal: Delivers push notifications. OneSignal may process push notification tokens and device-related information according to its Privacy Policy .
• Google Play In-App Updates: The App may use Google Play Services to check whether an application update is available.

4. Children's Privacy

INDD Viewer is intended for general audiences and is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13. Applicable age requirements may vary by jurisdiction.

We do not knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so that we can review and address the matter appropriately.

5. Local Storage & Preferences

Application preferences, such as selected language, theme preference, and favorited file references, are stored locally in your device's private SharedPreferences.

You can clear locally stored App data through Android Settings or by uninstalling the App.

6. User Rights & Data Control

• Notification Controls: You can manage or revoke notification permissions through Android Settings > Apps > INDD Viewer > Notifications.
• Ad Personalization: Depending on your device and region, you may be able to manage advertising preferences or reset your advertising identifier through Android or Google settings.

7. Security

Document processing is performed locally within the App's Android application environment. This design helps keep document contents on your device rather than transmitting them to an external document-processing server.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to the App, applicable requirements, or our data practices. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
