Privacy Policy

Bluetooth Speaker Mic

Effective Date: August 9, 2026

Bluetooth Speaker Mic ("we", "our", or "the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Bluetooth Speaker Mic application handles information when you use the App.

The App is designed to provide Bluetooth audio, microphone, recording, and device-management features while keeping your personal app data primarily on your device.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Bluetooth and Device Information

The App may access Bluetooth-related information to discover, connect to, and communicate with Bluetooth speakers, headsets, and other compatible Bluetooth audio devices.

Depending on your device and Android version, this may include:

  • Bluetooth device names
  • Bluetooth device addresses or identifiers
  • Connection and disconnection status
  • Device connection state
  • Bluetooth signal information, where available
  • Device battery information, where supported
  • Paired and connected device information

This information is used to provide Bluetooth connection and audio functionality.

1.2 Microphone and Audio Data

The App requires microphone access to allow you to use your phone as a wireless microphone and to record audio.

When microphone access is enabled:

  • Audio is captured only when you activate a microphone or recording feature.
  • Audio used by the microphone feature is processed for the requested audio functionality.
  • Recordings created through the App are stored as local files in the App's internal storage.
  • We do not intentionally upload your recordings to our servers.

You can revoke microphone permission at any time through your Android device settings, although microphone-related features may no longer function.

1.3 Recordings

Recordings created using the App are stored locally on your device's internal application storage.

Recording metadata, such as recording names and related information, is stored locally on your device.

We do not operate a cloud storage service for your recordings and do not intentionally transmit your recordings to us.

If you share a recording using Android's sharing functionality, the recording may be transferred to the third-party application or service you choose. The privacy practices of that third party will then apply.

1.4 Connection History and App Preferences

The App stores certain information locally to provide its features, including:

  • Bluetooth connection history
  • Favorite Bluetooth devices
  • App settings and preferences
  • Theme preferences
  • Notification preferences
  • Other settings required for the App to function

This information is stored on your device using local Android storage technologies, including Room Database and DataStore.

We do not intentionally upload this locally stored information to our own servers.

2. Permissions We Use

Bluetooth Permissions

Bluetooth permissions are required to discover, connect to, and communicate with compatible Bluetooth devices.

Microphone Permission

Microphone permission is required to capture your voice and use the phone as a microphone or create recordings.

Notification Permission

Notification permission may be requested to provide connection, microphone, recording, and background-service notifications.

Location Permission

On older versions of Android, location permission may be required by the Android operating system for Bluetooth device scanning.

The App does not use your location to provide location-based services.

Foreground Service Permissions

Foreground service permissions allow the App to maintain necessary Bluetooth audio and microphone functionality while operating in the background.

Storage and Media Permissions

Depending on your Android version, storage or media permissions may be used when required to access or share audio files.

3. How We Use Information

Information accessed or generated by the App may be used to:

  • Discover and connect to Bluetooth devices
  • Maintain Bluetooth connections
  • Stream microphone audio to compatible Bluetooth devices
  • Record audio
  • Play recordings
  • Maintain connection history
  • Save favorite devices
  • Remember your app preferences
  • Provide notifications
  • Diagnose crashes and technical problems
  • Improve app stability and performance
  • Display advertisements

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Local Data Storage

Bluetooth Speaker Mic is designed with a local-first approach.

The following information is primarily stored on your device:

  • Audio recordings
  • Recording metadata
  • Connection history
  • Favorite devices
  • App preferences
  • Local application settings

Room Database and DataStore are used for local data management.

Your recordings and locally stored application data are not intentionally uploaded to our servers.

5. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services to provide advertising, analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, configuration, and notifications.

These services may independently collect certain information from your device according to their own privacy policies.

5.1 Google AdMob

The App may use Google AdMob to display advertisements.

AdMob may collect or use information such as advertising identifiers, device information, IP address, approximate location, and information about interactions with advertisements, depending on your device settings, consent status, and applicable regulations.

For more information, please review Google's Privacy Policy .

5.2 Firebase

The App may use Google Firebase services, including:

  • Firebase Analytics
  • Firebase Crashlytics
  • Firebase Performance Monitoring
  • Firebase Remote Config
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging

These services may process technical information such as device information, app usage information, diagnostic information, crash information, performance data, and notification-related information.

Firebase services are used to help us understand app usage, identify crashes, improve performance, configure app behavior, and deliver notifications.

For more information, please review Google's Privacy Policy .

5.3 Google Play Services

The App may use Google Play Services and related Android/Google services required for advertising, application functionality, security, and other platform features.

Google's privacy policy applies to information processed by Google services.

6. Advertising

The App may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob.

Advertising providers may use advertising identifiers and other permitted technologies to provide personalized or non-personalized advertisements, depending on your consent, device settings, and applicable laws.

You can manage certain advertising preferences through your Android device and Google account settings.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We may share or permit access to information only when necessary to:

You can:

  • Delete recordings through the App where supported
  • Clear the App's locally stored data
  • Uninstall the App

Third-party services such as Google Analytics, Crashlytics, AdMob, and Firebase may retain information according to their respective policies and retention practices.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App.

Local application data is stored using Android's application storage mechanisms. Recordings are stored in the App's internal storage rather than being automatically uploaded to a cloud server operated by us.

However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Children's Privacy

Bluetooth Speaker Mic is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own servers.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us through the contact information provided on the App's Google Play listing.

When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.
